Girls Day Out

Have I said it out loud enough times yet? That I LOVE this girl!!!!

She was eating it up and enjoying every minute of the pampering. It was so fun! She still surprises me with what comes out of her mouth. Let it be said that she is NOT shy!

Our 24th Of July Traditions...

Well this year, because of the water/fire issues up in the canyon, they could not put up their ever so anticipated water slide. But to be honest?!?...I was a little relieved! Being the selfish Mom that I can sometimes be, I was so not in the mood to make the climb up the mountain this year. The kids were so excited to do it together so I would have done it in the end but when the phone call came that it was not being done, I did the "YES fist arm pull back" and secretly smiled!

This was the extent of our fireworks this year that we quickly stopped and purchased on our way home. LOL?!?!?

PS...I LOVE Training?!?

There are a few things in my life that I MUST HAVE to survive. One of those things would be my training and my physical therapy. It's that place that I go, with my iPod blaring, that allows me to think, to clear my head, and as cheesy as it sounds, to be at peace! Plus there is NOTHING better than a hard core sweat!!! hehehe

I had to video some of what I do so that my kids can see what else I'm doing while they're at school....

Christmas 2009...The SIMPLE Style!

After some intense concentration as I was laying in the tanning bed..hehehe..I came up with the simple Christmas tree idea that we were going to do this year. I also think that Halloween did me in so I wanted the decorating process to be as easy as possible. So this is what I came up with........

A "Truck Tree" for Carter...

A "Horse Tree" for Kindra...

And I could not forget about my "Santa Collection" that must go up every year...

So YES this is going to be our simple year when it comes to decorating for Christmas. It has been way too chaotic and life changing decision making around here so this could not have worked out better! Plus I would die without my new found LOVE for Amazon to help me through the dreaded Christmas shopping! hehehe
