these creatures were everywhere! the thought of them crawling around EVERYWHERE made me sick :(
cozumel, mexico...
the tulum ruins, mexico...
we are not huge into snorkeling like the rest of our friends are and since we had just done it the day before, we decided to go to the tulum ruins. after i saw and experienced
THIS, the desire and love for ancient history discovered. we were so close that we couldn't pass up going?!
plus we had a greater plan in mind...
once we had decided to make the drive to the ruins, we were also able to find an LDS aka MORMON tour guide that would be able to give us some additional insight. aaaaaaand he was also able to perform a marriage ceremony. yes. that's right. a marriage ceremony. soooo we went for it, eloped, right in the middle of these ruins. exactly what we wanted. such a memorable experience...

such a gorgeous setting! they really knew what they were doing when they chose this location to build their city...
and the shades of blue in the ocean...
MR & MRS CORBRIDGE. again. finally where we're meant to be. it may have been a random way to get here. we may have had to experience things that allowed us to learn. we may have had to get hurt to realize how wonderful that our life could actually be. to realize that the grass IS NOT greener on the other side. we all have "something", baggage, and we realized that we could handle each others. that we WANTED to handle each others baggage. LOVING each other for the good and for the bad. and especially because we wanted our family to be together. but mostly because i love him, because of how he makes me feel, because he accepts my weirdness, and because he is my best friend.
the photo that EVERYONE must have...lol...but i'd say that ours is the best because of the lady in the background staring and laughing hysterically at us ;)

yes. like always, i am "the guys girl", hanging with the boys, watching sports. but no complaining. i LOVE being "that" girl, once again "that" wife. i mean, come on, that's sooo me! and for the record GO SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS!!!
finally i can say that i've been on a cruise. a very relaxing 8 days full of new adventures. buuuut i will admit that i was going crazy without the kids. we missed them sooooo much. especially now that they are older, they can "adventurize" with us.

yep. i did it. last summer i took part in my first triathlon. i got the opportunity to be sponsored to take part and so i took it. i made the long drive up on the friday and the long drive back home the very next day immediately after i finished.
it's only getting better :) i LOVE the obsession, her full on singing, and the made up dances to her favorite songs. i love seeing her imagination thrive. kindra has "danny elfman" to dance to and i had "phil collins" and "amy grant" and "tiffany". LOL...like mother like daughter. hmmmm...well kind of ;)
i found the wreath and the ribbon at "the dollar store" and both were $1. the straws were a bit more, $13, but sooo worth it...
i trimmed down every other straw to give it some character and used my trusty glue gun to attach them to the wreath which i obviously wrapped with the ribbon...
a holiday or a valentines wreath? hmmm. either way i LOVE it!!!
