Creepity Creep.......

It's OFFICIAL! I was just informed from my good virtual friend J, that today (ok. i'm a few days late!) is "De-Lurker Day"! So come on. Spare me the excuses of why it is that you don't say hi. It's always nice to know and to meet who's out there...right?!? Like I said. Come on. Just for funny?

Either way if you choose to or don't, (which I hope that you do) atleast I now know that there is an actual day to meet you lurkers! hehehe :)

Another Movie Night...

GO SEE THIS MOVIE...and make sure to laugh again for me at the bachelorette/stripper dance scene! So perfect...We just got back from an all girls sister retreat to the opening night and had a blast and what a perfect way to let the guys do their own thing since a "bride" movie is the last thing that they want to sit thru so?...we're all happy!

It did bring out some good points about relationships whether they are marriage/friendships that endure the trials, hardships, misunderstandings, and confusions of life. It caused me to reflect hard on those that I have kept strong as well as those that I have pride-fully let get away from me...and those?...I do wish that I could bring a few of them back but maybe there's still hope. We'll see? Who knows.

Anyway girls...mark this on your calendar because it's one that I would see again and it's one that I would definitely NOT miss! :)

Yesterday I was talking to a friend of mine about the "horrors" of marriage so when I found these, I could not pass up posting them! My friend (no names on this one) is still in her first year of marriage so the bumps have not yet passed. Soon my friend......soon? To all of those that are in the same boat? Remember that the grass IS NOT any greener on the other side! :) We ALL have issues whether we are married or not! But still. Relationships? Way too awesome and fun to pass up, huh?!?

The Masterpiece Classics...

If it was not for Lauren, I would never have known about the PBS Masterpiece Classics that they are airing every Sunday night. (times change depending on where you live) The first 3 series are Tess of the d'Urbervilles, Wuthering Heights, and my literal ALL TIME FAVORITE...(MOVIE not book!) , Sense and Sensibility! I am so excited for all of these.

My T-Vo had an issue last Sunday night so I missed the first half of "Tess" and I had a slight panic attack! Lauren saved me by telling me how to download it so I had a late one catching up last night. I did some research and read up a bit on Thomas Hardy's novel which has now become known as one of the great classics of the English literature. If you're interested, you can go over here to learn more about "Tess of the d'Urbervilles. While watching it, there were so many emotions that were going through my mind and there are so many issues that could be discussed. It's that romantic side of me, whether it's the good or the bad qualities that come with it, that I just love!

ps...how did they possibly manage to cast 2 kids from SLC? one "mormon", one "non-mormon", one trans-gender, one gay, and one bi-sexual? hmmmmm...can you say full forced drama?!?

FYI...Love English History? Read and Watch This...

...and then when you are up for an interesting "movie night"...watch "Elizabeth The Golden Age" with Cate Blanchet and my hottie, Clive Owen :) See what you think. The book and the movie combined, give a different view of what she was actually going through at the time and of all of the different issues, pressures, and responsibilities that she had to endure. A very important and dominant woman yet the part of her that was human and sad, she put on the back burner because she knew of her responsibilities and of her duties to England. Like I said...a very good read and a very good movie that gives one of the most accurate descriptions of what her life was actually like, of what she actually accomplishes, and for her successes as a Queen...the true daughter of Henry VIII! (how ironic is it that out of all of his children...the one that he "banned"...she was the one who truly was "her fathers daughter"?!?) Have fun and let me know what you think and if you're more interested check out here. Honestly...enjoy!
