The Winter Secret Garden

I have been telling the kids for a while now about how great the "golf" hill is over in the "Secret Garden" for sledding. I had this great idea and a plan all set up in my head as to how we would go about this. We would drive over and I would just sit in the car as they played! I know...how lazy can I get but come on!?! So we piled in the car and drove over to this.......

...NOW, in my head the hill was a lot bigger and the adventure was going to be awesome but....

..."Mom, it's not moving!" and there he sat! I was laughing so hard to myself as I sat in my warm car :)

I threw a snow ball at him which began this...

Kindra decided to hang with Mom so I decided to further her knowledge with a little "Chris Brown", "Frou Frou", "Gwen Stefani", and I even went old school with a little "Bel Biv DeVoe"! I am so immature when it comes to music and activities like this. She just laughed at me and stole my gum!
Of course, Carter had to finish it off with some shoveling...and yes...we are still in my warm car!

Just look how cute my son is! I love Carter so much! He is my "bubby" and will always be so. He and Kindra are my best friends for sure! As we were de-snow-clothing him, he expressed just how hot he was. "Feel my head, Mom" and I did! Completely wet...with sweat...so I had to take a picture of my work horse :)

...and YES! the joke is on me! I obviously did not get the memo concerning the obnoxious picture taking! Honestly!?!...and NO! I can not and I will not explain my post title. SORRY???
Jenny and Jackson invited Tara and I to join them for a dinner at "The Spaghetti Factory". We laughed hard about our Las Vegas trip but we got an even better laugh listening to Jackson tell us all about his "dictionary"!
Thanks for the dinner, the laughs, and the great night but hey...what's new when my sis Jenny is involved?!?

The "Terry Family" of 2007

Thanks must go out to our cousin, Jed, for putting this all together at a days notice. Just like the rest of the state, we wanted to do, and at the last minute decided to do a family picture. That was impossible because no one was available. Most people like to have things like this planned well in advance but not my family! We put together a background and went over to the church. So lame, boring, and uncreative but it did the job! However, I especially love the chairs that we are sitting on! So embarrassing when I actually think about it! Here we are...one big, happy family! We had to give Mike some crap since he obviously did not get the memo about the "color tones" we were wearing! :)

Too funny is all I can say :) and I can't decide if I like them or not?!?

More Horsing Around...

Kindra is a very special, lucky, talkative, silly, creative, manipulative, and loved big girl who has a Grandpa Terry who knows just how much she loves horses! This time we were able to go to the Equestrian Park for Kindra to ride on a "real live horse"...

This is what I found her doing in her bedroom! She was putting socks on her pony just like the other horses that she'd seen while on her adventure. Very cute, attentive, and creative. She also informed me that instead of a ballerina, she would now like to be a cowgirl. What have I gotten myself into!?!

Sledding at Evergreen Park

The kids have been dying to go sledding on a "real hill", as Carter puts it! The plan was to go to my Uncle's mountain to sled down...the same mountain that Jenny and I did our "Mountain Adventure" on but we got a little lazy! We decided to go over to Evergreen Park which is right around the corner from our house so the kids were still happy. Uncle John-Charles, Carter, and Kindra getting ready to take on the hill. The thought that came into my mind was that of "Christmas Vacation" when Clark goes on his own sledding adventure! It makes me laugh just thinking about it!

Yes...I was a slight bit paranoid about those 2 huge trees and the thought of them hitting them head on!

Carter got all giggly because he ended up going down backwards and thought it was hilarious!
Kindra, even though she was having a good time, was annoyed that she had gotten snow on her gloves! She was trying to "stay clean"! :)

Thank you Uncle John-Charles and Uncle Mike for putting up with us, helping us to create memories, letting us have a good time, and especially for dealing with me....aka Mommy aka Katie! :)
