carter LOVES these running shoes. and when i say LOVES, i mean LOVES! he thinks they hold the power to allow him to run even faster than he already does. i am amazed continually at the ideas these kids get in their heads and to what they believe with out any kind of doubt!i LOVE that they still believe that anything is possible and that they haven't been tainted by a negative world! and to see his smile is worth a million "whatevers"!
however, tonight i was able to get them off of his feet ONLY because he stepped in dog poo. lol. he is absolutely positive that they didn't get cleaned off completely so i must wash them the proper way...in the washer. lol. oh well. whatever makes this boy happy i'll do because when he is happy, then we're all happy!
and yes, i also think that they are the bomb diggity and since i'm his mom, i'm allowed to think that (even if it's not true).
