Yeah...I've Still Got My Touch...Waaahooo!!!

i got invited to play in an annual tournament that "the utah wheelin jazz" holds every year. i did not know what to expect and even though i've been practicing with them, i've still got a long way to go. i was actually really nervous or more pumped up like right before i used to be before games in college or old tournaments. it was awesome!
i got right in there and was getting all up in their faces so much so that they were completely taken by surprise. i'm loud. i'm tough. i'm bashing into their chairs. and let me say that playin ball this way is NOTHING like a game in the "pre-life". it's completely different but that competitive drive is still there believe me. i love that sweaty feeling that you get after you've been up and down the court a few times. i love getting in a good block or two not to mention the rebounds. i'm telling you...IT WAS AWESOME! doing these things reminds me that i'm still me and i will still be me, KT, for the rest of my life. i LOVE it....
plus. lol. this team was from CA so i could do and say all without having to look them in the eye at the next practice! no but really. i was a good sport and it was all in fun and really? IT WAS FUN and i had such a great night hearing the family cheer me on! heck, even kindra who usually gets quite bored was paying attention the whole time. she was actually my picture taker. (i'm telling you. i've created an obsession...lol)

....and YES! I EVEN SCORED!!! that's what made the games completely worth it :)
anyway. so excited for the invite to play along with these guys and to get the chance to only get more game time and more experience. i'd really like to get a female team together but right now it's a no go. there's just not the demand for one. so i'll just keep buggin the guys and keep crashing their practices...hehehe :)
but next time. #24. i must have #24 because it will only give me that much more luck. serious ;)
