pure comedy...

afternoons like today, are the ones that i wish i had a camera man following me, catching all of the comedy that goes on. i swear i can have the worst luck. i had to go get some things copied this afternoon and when i was getting all set to get back into the car, my wheelchair side brake broke. i tried as hard as i could to "place" my chair position so that when i pulled myself up into my car, the chair would stay as close to the car as possible. uh. yeah. not. so. much. the hill took total control and off my chair flew across the parking lot. as fast as i could, i put my car into reverse, trying to catch up to my chair. i can only imagine what i looked like. flying across the parking lot, chasing a human-less wheelchair....
finally i caught up to the chair and let it hit into the side of my car. seriously. stealing a friends saying. "i can't make this shiz up!" so i had to take a photo. you can see my car skid marks and if you look close you can see the skinny parallel wheelchair tracks. wow. awesome and all i can do is laugh and shake my head. oh to live the life of katie. pure comedy. puuure comedy.
